The Race...... Teams of 2 or 3 will travel together for 50 - 100 miles, depending on the 12 or 24 hour race option, through two states, forest preserves, fish and wildlife areas, state parks, historic sites, state and federal recreation areas, previously inaccessible private property and rural county roads. This is not an urban adventure race! Western Rock Island County is one of the least populated, most historic, and undeveloped areas in the State of Illinois! _____________________________________ Checkpoint Tracker Adventure Racing Series The Thunder Rolls Adventure Race is excited to be included in the Checkpoint Tracker Adventure Racing Series. Teams will be competing for rankings and a prize purse. The race will also be covered on-line with real time updates and team information.
