NEW for 2010!

The highlight of the 2010 High Profile Adventure Camp will be the 1st annual LIGHTNING STRIKES Sprint Adventure Race.  The eight (8) hour race will involve the disciplines of mountain biking, canoeing, trekking, caving, and fixed ropes.  The course will cover over 50 miles throughout Carroll County, Illinois.  There will be two (2) divisions, competitive with coed teams of three, and recreational with either coed or same gender teams of two or three.  Teams in the competitive division will be attempting to qualify for the USARA National Championship Race.  The top four teams will qualify with the 1st place team receiving a $400 sponsorship to the National Championship race.  The gear list for the race is the same as that for the camp.  All teams must participate in the camp.  The cost is $175 per person.  Register on-line at www.getmeregistered.com

The "LIGHTNING STRIKES" Sprint Adventure Race is a 2010 Checkpoint Tracker Event.  Click on the banner above for additional information.  Please note: teams must create a RACER and a TEAM PROFILE and add this race to your TEAMS SCHEDULE in order to earn Checkpoint Tracker Points.  This must be done BEFORE the official start of the race to receive points.  Registered racers and teams will earn points towards national rankings and qualification into the Checkpoint Tracker National Championship.
