The highlight of the 2012 High Profile Adventure Camp will be the 3rd annual LIGHTNING STRIKES Sprint Adventure Race. The eight (8) hour race will involve the disciplines of mountain biking, canoeing, trekking, caving, and fixed ropes. The course will cover over 50 miles throughout Carroll County, Illinois. There will be two (2) divisions, competitive with coed teams of three, and recreational with either coed or same gender teams of two or three. Teams in the competitive division will be attempting to qualify for the USARA National Championship Race. The top four teams will qualify with the 1st place team receiving a $400 sponsorship to the National Championship race. The gear list for the race is the same as that for the camp.
